The Definitive Guide to Endpoint Backup is a microsite I developed in my role as a Front End Developer at Code42. The Marketing Team was looking to create a marketing and sales tool to thoroughly explain to prospects the need for endpoint backup protection within their organizations. The site is setup to mimick an eBook, with individual pages setup as individual chapters.
After design file delivery from the contractor, the project was largely myself working directly with the Website Strategy Manager. We decided to modularize the development so that there were no single, static templates for individual chapters, but rather, a module library that editors had at their disposal when creating a chapter for the site.
Using Advanced Custom Fields Pro’s Flexible Content field, I was able to create the library of modules and also make it easy for editors.
The modularization of this site is a continuation of my development philosophy I’ve developed over the past few projects I’ve worked on.
