This site was a multi-team, cross-company project that gave the Code42 Support Site a much-needed responsive facelift.
Working directly with the Support Documentation team, our designers were able to update various sections of the site to better match our brand guidelines. After the design files we finalized, front end development could begin, where I continued to work directly with the Support Documentation team to ensure deliverables and project timelines were in check.
Built on Mindtouch, a support documentation CMS beloved by the team that used it, there unfortunately wasn’t a ton of flexibility for customization from a front end development standpoint. However, we were able to work with the designers to identify solutions or work out compromises where necessary.
When launched, this facelift brought a mobile-friendly experience to Code42 customers searching for documentation from their mobile devices – a luxury they didn’t previously have.
